  • Founder & Clinical Director of Early Connections
  • Licensed Professional Counselor
  • Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor
  • Registered Play Therapist Supervisor

Supporting children, teens and families has been at the center of my career from the beginning. I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia and taught in both public and private schools before attending Georgia State University for my Master’s of Education in School Counseling. I worked in education as a teacher and school counselor for 11 years before entering private practice and opening Early Connections in 2015.

I specialize in play therapy for children as young as 2 years old, counseling for teens, and personalized support for parents in finding solutions for their families. I have also offered social-emotional programming for preschools and homeschool groups, small group counseling for various ages, and workshops and outreach with schools and child care centers in our community.

In addition to my work with children and families, I also provide training and supervision for associate-licensed therapists as well as therapists working towards their Registered Play Therapist credential. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), and a Registered Play Therapist – Supervisor (RPT-S).

As the Practice Manager, it is my pleasure to provide assistance and support to our families with any billing or practice concerns. My role is to make sure your experience here at Early Connections goes smoothly and positively. Mental health is such an important part of our everyday lives, especially for those of our children, so I strive to create an environment that prioritizes comfort and compassion throughout your time with us. It is my sincere desire that I can provide a feeling of safety and support during our conversations. Welcome to Early Connections, I’m so glad you’re here!

Fun fact about me: I live in League City, TX!  In my free time, I enjoy reading, doing puzzles, and spending time with my family and friends.

  • Client Care Coordinator
  • Scheduling Support
  • Consult Calls with New Clients
As the Client Care Coordinator at Early Connections I am passionate about supporting families and children through their unique journeys. I enjoy connecting with clients and helping them navigate the counseling process, making sure that they feel heard and valued every step of the way. I am there to answer questions, ease anxieties, and make the process of joining our practice feel as natural as possible.

My role allows me to connect each family who reaches out to our dedicated team of therapists, which is incredibly rewarding. Effective communication and empathy is crucial in fostering a supportive environment where families can feel safe and understood. It’s fulfilling to play a part in helping them find the resources and support they need to thrive. I feel thankful to be a part of this first step towards helping others be their greatest self.

Outside of work you can find me spending time with my English Mastiff puppy (who doesn’t look much like a puppy), going to the park with my nephews whenever I get the chance, or sitting down with a good book or movie! It’s hard to find me without a cup of coffee in hand, and I’m happiest when fall weather is at its peak!
