What is Group Therapy?

Group counseling provides a powerful place to share feelings and experiences, discover new ideas and skills, and form bonds with their peers.

By being a part of a group, youth learn they are not alone in their feelings and struggles. They also build essential social-emotional skills.

Group therapy is incorporated into our counseling for young children, too. This means kids are sharing and learning in ways just right for them – through cooperative playing, game-building, telling stories and more.
